#29 HOW TO USE ND GRAD FILTERS

ND stands for Neutral Density and are basically filters to bring down the exposure without affecting the image in any other way. The way they affect the exposure is: ND 0.3 = 1stop ND 0.6 = 2 stops ND 0.9 = 3 stops ND 1.2 = 4 stops etc etc... In this video I show you Graduated ND filter... which I use to balance sky and land, by putting the darker part of the filter over the brighter area of the image.
